Phototherapy – Light-Based Treatment for Skin Conditions
Phototherapy is a technique used to treat skin diseases by exposing the skin to ultraviolet (UV) light waves of different wavelengths. Depending on the wavelength used during the procedure, phototherapy is classified into the following types:
